    A pair of early production Pala vases designed by Helena Tynell (1918-2016) for the Finnish glassworks company Riihimäki. Tynell's forms. organic yet elegant. experiment with the expressive and optical qualities of glass. This design is thought to have been inspired by a chunk of ice (pala translates to piece or chunk).
